'The Walking Dead' Season 6 News: Steven Yeun's Name Not Seen In The Opening Credits

Since "The Walking Dead" Season 6, "Thank You" episode was shown and revealed the death of Glenn Rhee, different speculations and rumors came out about it. Steven Yeun's character as Glenn is one of the fans favorite that is why his said to be death was really a big deal.

Those who have seen the Nov. 1 episode entitled, "Here's Not Here" must have noticed that something unusual happened in the opening credits of "The Walking Dead." According to Variety, in this week's opening credits of the show, the name of Yeun was noticeably absent. That was the first time it happened.

While Steven's name may not be seen during the opening credits, there was a strong proof that Glenn's still alive. The Spoiling Dead Fans posted a photo on their Facebook page that showed Steven filming on the set along with new characters that was not yet introduced suggesting that Glenn is still alive.

It has been reported that many fans were surprised to see the turn of events that happened on Glenn's character during the "Thank You" episode. Glenn was last seen being trapped by walkers who could have possibly made him as one of their meals.

International Business Times said it is a shock to many that an original character such as Glenn could be killed off. It brought about a lot of debates on the real fate of Glenn given that most of the fans were in denial with what they saw which reportedly helped a lot in increasing the ratings of the show.

"The Walking Dead" showrunner Scott M. Gimple gave a statement on "The Talking Dead" about the controversial "Thank You" episode and said that, "In some way, we will see Glenn, some version of Glenn, or parts of Glenn again, either in flashback or in the current story, to help complete the story." Given this statement a lot of fans were more curious on whether or not Glenn is still alive.
