Fast food giant, Burger King is reportedly planning to expand its franchisees and has an eye on the Elvis Presley Estate in Beverly Hills, according to some news sources.
TMZ broke news of Burger King's desire to acquire the home of late rock n roll legend, Elvis Presley. Apparently, officials of the fast food chain sent a letter to Peter Morton, co-founder of Hard Rock Cafe, who currently owns the home, and apparently offered to buy the residence for $3.9 million. It wants to close the deal real fast. It also added that if the deal is sealed, it would preserve all historic value of the home.
"This would be a fast closing within three days and we would be happy to provide you with proof of funds upon request," the letter that TMZ obtained read.
However, $3.9 is too less for a legendary residence, don't you think? Plus, it's not even for sale anymore!
Morton himself purchased the place for $9.8 million in December 2012. The property went up for sale in October 2012 asking for $12.9 million. Apparently, Elvis and his wife Priscilla had purchased the home in 1967 for $4 million and sold it when they separated. The home was put up on rent for $250,000 a month before being listed in October.
The main unit spreads across 5367 square feet on a big 1.19 acre lot and was recently renovated. The home has four bedrooms and five bathrooms with spacious living and dining areas. A family room, an office and a media room also exist in the property. A new modern kitchen had been installed during the renovation. The home features slider doors and floor-to-ceiling windows that provide scenic views of the canyons and the city. The home opens out into patios that overlook the garden area. A swimming pool, a spa and a four-car garage and a motor court make up the exteriors of the property.

Although it's unlikely, if the home ever sold to Burger King, how would the company make use of the place without disrupting its 'historic value'?
The large open bar could serve as the counter and expect the pool area to have Burger-and-fries floats and 'whopper' printed pool-side umbrellas. Burger King Commercials and offers could be played in the giant media room too!
On a serious note, Burger King will be expanding massively in Korea. It is planning to open 150 new stores in the country, reports Korea Times. In its recent quarter report, the company stated that its revenue had gone up 4.9 percent but growth was stagnant in the U.S. and Canada. The Presley House offer could be one promotion strategy to boost sales in the country.
