The hunky Jared Padalecki, who plays 'Sam' in the horror-drama series 'Supernatural', has reportedly listed his home in Studio City for $2.49 million. Jared and his actress wife, Genevieve Cortes are selling because they want a larger family home, according to several news reports.
Jared and Genevieve are expecting their second baby. The couple already have a two-year-old son, Thomas Colton. They announced pregnancy in June and with the baby due in just a few months, they will need to make room for the family of soon-to-be four.
Jared's Studio City home is a 3818 square feet residence comprising of four bedrooms and five bathrooms. He purchased the place in June 2009 for $1.7 million and is definitely looking for a profit on the sale, reports Trulia.
Interiors of the home feature dark hardwood floors, wood-framed French doors and windows and spacious rooms. An elaborate living room, a separate dining hall, a glass enclosed office are some of the other exclusive interiors features. There are walk-in closets in three of the four bedrooms.
Outside, the two-story home has a small garden with a stone fountain and a little sitting area in the corner.

More recently, Jensen Ackles, who plays 'Dean' in the series along with Jared, purchased a mansion in Malibu for $4.8 million. The two-story home was listed for $5.9 million but Jensen got it for a cool discount.
Both Jared and Jensen acquired a great deal of fame with their roles in Supernatural. Currently in its ninth season, the plot of the serial revolved around Dean and Sam, the two brothers, hunting down witches, monsters, demons and other crazy paranormal stuff.
Playing Dean and Sam for nine seasons has made the duo believe in evil! In an interview with the Express Tribune, the two confessed that they believe in something more than 'natural'.
"I firmly believe things happen for a reason. That may sound melodramatic but I don't believe in coincidences. I also believe we're not the only living creatures in this universe," Jared said.
"I wouldn't call myself superstitious, but I do suspect there's more between heaven and earth, even hell. I'm open to spiritual experiences, although I didn't need any salt yet to ward off evil spirits from my home," Jensen added.
Bonus Fact: The voodoo, hexes, spells and methods used to drive away or hunt the supernatural in the series are real fixes for the paranormal!
