Celebrity Real Estate: Diane Keaton Sells Pacific Palisades House For $7M

Oscar award winning actress Diane Keaton is not just known for her amazing acting skills, she is also a savvy home renovator. LA Times reported that Keaton is selling a Pacific Palisades house for $6.995 million.

The "Something's Got To Give" star bought the house for $5.6 million three years ago. Diane restored the house and turned it into a classic and more relaxing ambience. In this latest project of hers, Keaton made the traditional styled home into a more comfortable feeling by using rustic accessories along with dark woods and at the same time featuring subdued-tone for its interiors. Keaton also used words and signage as a form of art work.

According to Variety, the 7,800-square-foot mini mansion is situated in a corner lot, in the El Medio Bluffs neighborhood. The house is composed of six bedrooms and six full bathrooms with two powder rooms. It has a formal entry, living room, dining room, family room, kitchen room, winery, a study and a home theatre. The master suite has its own patio and an amazing roof deck. The house has a swimming pool, a lawn and an outdoor dining area.

It has been reported that Keaton made a lot of "cosmetic changes" in the house. She changed the wall paintings as well as the light fixtures. The accessories were mostly in black and white along with some rustic looks and like mentioned earlier she used text signage such as "SMILE BECAUSE IT HAPPENS," and "DON'T EAT!"

Meanwhile, PEOPLE shared that Diane just released her new wine collection called "The Keaton." The Keaton is said to be served over ice, and according to Diane that is how she like it to be.

Diane shared that "I'm not sure when I started that. I think most likely since it was so hot in N.Y. when I lived there in the '70s. I used to go on the balcony to cool down since my apartment didn't have A.C. and one day I thought about trying it on ice. It has stuck ever since then!"
