'Wonder Woman' Lynda Carter Sings As Magnolia in 'Fallout 4'

Lynda Carter is the voice behind a fictional singer Magnolia in the town of Goodneighbor in the much awaited "Fallout 4" that will be released this Nov 10 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows, Polygon reveals.

Lynda Carter is the American actress who is famous for taking the role of Wonder Woman in the TV series of the same name in 1975 to 1979. She was also crowned as Miss World America in 1972.

The bar where Magnolia sings is a key location in the game where a lot of things get done.

Speaking about Magnolia, in an interview with Bethesda, Carter says, "She knows who the players are. She's a great judge of character. She's really, really smart. And she does what she does because she loves it. So this is a safe place for her too."

The official announcement regarding her role in the upcoming game was made by game developer Bethesda Softworks, according to Polygon. What more is that Carter reportedly personally wrote the five songs she performed for the game.

As to the songs that she personally wrote, she said, "I was trying to give a different flavor to each of the songs, because there really is no genre except for how Magnolia sings them." She continued, "She is the 'genre' and her personality is reflected in every song."

And in general, she views her work for "Fallout 4" as a labor of love according to Polygon and she says, "I am honored and thrilled to no end to have the belief of Todd and his team. I am really so grateful to have had the opportunity. I think it's one of the highlights of my career to have been a part of the creative team."

Voicing over for a character for "Fallout 4" is not the first time that Carter has rendered her talents for a video game. According to Nerdist.com, Lynda is the voice behind the Azura in "Elder Scrolls: Skyrim."
