In "The Affair" Season 2 Episode 6, Martin will be facing a frightening health situation which started as mere stomach pains. Martin (Jake Richard Siciliano) had been complaining about stomachaches in the past episodes but Margaret Butler (Kathleen Chalfant) didn't mind him saying that it is merely because of his anxiety of Helen (Maura Tierney) and Noah Solloway's (Dominic West) divorce, International Business Times reported.
But Margaret was wrong because Martin has a serious illness that almost killed him. Helen was very worried of his teenager while Noah was seen rushing Martin to the ER as he carried him on his arms. Helen was furious about her mom and would no longer listen to her opinion after what happened to Martin.
In another sneak peek of the episode, Helen will get into an intense argument with her mother Margaret about her divorce with Noah. Helen informs Margaret that she and Noah agreed to have a shared custody of their four kids. But Margaret said that Helen is making a big mistake.
A third teaser video shows Noah telling Alison (Ruth Wilson) the good news that Helen has finalized the divorce and she can live with him again. But despite knowing that, Alison was hesitant to join Noah again and doesn't seem excited about it. Alison tells Noah that she was no longer sure where their relationship stood especially after not seeing each other for six weeks.
Despite Noah's explanations that she can't be with Alison because of a court order that keeps her away from his kids, Alison still decided to stay with her mother at the Sousanna Institute, instead of joining him.
Meanwhile, when Alison felt upset after reading Noah's manuscript, she slept with her estranged husband Cole Lockhart (Joshua Jackson). Fans are looking forward if Alison will confess what happened to Noah.
