Poppy Montgomery, who is perhaps best known for playing 'Samantha Spade' on CBS mystery drama 'Without a Trace' has reportedly purchased a home in Brentwood, Los Angeles for $3.6 million, according to some news reports.
Trulia blog reports that the actress brought the residence just after selling her Pacific Palisades home for $2.8 million.
The new Brentwood home is a Spanish-style single-family residence, spanning an area of 3089 square feet. The home comprises of three bedrooms and three full and one half bathroom. Interiors of the house feature wood-beamed ceilings, mixed flooring and French doors and windows.
Outside, the residence has a large rectangular pool, ample recreation space and a nice sitting area.

Poppy recently gave birth to a baby girl in April 2013. The baby's arrival must have prompted Poppy's move to a larger home.
"We are overjoyed with the arrival of our beautiful angel and filled with gratitude that she is happy, healthy and thriving!" Poppy and her boyfriend Shawn Sanford, said in a statement to US Weekly.
Poppy is a completely devoted mother. She has a five-year-old son, Jackson from a previous relationship. However, in a recent interview with Yahoo TV she reflects on how distracting, having two kids is.
"Oh, yes - I have mommy brain. I have breast-feeding brain. I have pregnancy brain. I have overworked brain. I have walked around looking for my sunglasses for 45 minutes and they were on my head. And I just [posed] for a bunch of pictures wearing my son [Jackson]'s 3-D glasses that he took home after seeing 'The Smurfs' movie. I put them on my head and forgot. When we were all done with the photos, someone pointed them out and it was like, 'Oh, grrrreat.'" she said.
Poppy currently plays 'Carrie Wells' in crime drama series 'Unforgettable'. The serial got renewed for a second season in July 2013.
