Yoko Ono, the legendary John Lennon's widow and an ardent avant-garde artist has reportedly listed her penthouse in Manhattan, New York City, for $6.5 million, according to several news reports.
According to the Zillow Blog, Ono purchased the home in 1995 for her son, Sean. However, he moved out after living there for a few years. Lying un-accommodated for some time now, the residence was first listed for $8.9 million in July 2013. However, it has recently been given a price-chopper.
Listing records of the home state that the Penthouse at 49 Downing Street is a 5700 plus square feet residence comprising of three bedrooms, three full and two half bathrooms. The interiors feature hardwood flooring and large glass windows. The rooms are large and have an open plan.

Recently, Ono had sued the board of the co-op for trying to 'botch' a potential sale of the house. Apparently, a family with children had made an offer on the home but the board made 'arbitrary claims' that hampered the sale, reports New York Post. Ono still lives in the Dakota Building where Lennon was murdered.
