Former New York Yankees star, Derek Jeter, recently confirmed that he's now engaged to his girlfriend of three years, Hannah Davis. Before the famous athlete settles down and possibly move to a new place with his soon-to-be-wife, take a peek of the former baseball player's elegant home in Tampa, Florida.
According to 10 News, Jeter's house is located in Davis Islands in Tampa, Florida, and the huge property is priced at $12 million. The mansion reportedly occupies three lots and is actually the largest house in Hillsborough County.
Jeter's house measures 30,875 square feet and was dubbed by the locals "St. Jetersburg," according to Zillow. The report states that the house is almost the size of a Best Buy electronics store. It is home to seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms and two three-car garages. It sports an "English Manor-style with lots of gables and stone work."
Not much is known about what's inside the athlete's house, as Jeter supposedly prohibits people from taking pictures of it, as reported by Fox Sports. However, based on several online photos of the property, Jeter's mansion features a swimming pool fronting the house, and its exteriors are mostly decked out in white and gray. The property also faces the water, and there seems to be a walkway in front of the house leading to it.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Jeter's net worth is estimated at a whopping $185 million, and he reportedly earned $30 to $35 million a year. He was hailed one of the highest-paid athletes in recent sports history, and his earnings mostly came from his baseball career as well as endorsements.
