The upcoming "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is keeping everybody psyched and numerous mystery spoilers have been emerging here and there. One of the most mind boggling revelations however is a subtle appearance for a battery commercial.
As per the Independent news website, a new spoiler can be witness in Duracell's new Christmas advertisement. The ad revealed C-3PO's mystery arm. His arm was always kept hidden on various teasers and posters.
The advertisement is about a "Battle for Christmas Morning" in which a boy changed the batteries for his lightsaber. Upon doing so, he stumbled upon C- 3PO with his best buddy R2- D2 in which he was warned of danger that may soon arise.
"Sir, I must advise against this. The odds of survival are 608 to 1."
The boy then escaped them, and rushed downstairs in which his mother gave him another lightsaber to save his sister.
The Duracell advertisement may be awesome, but why is C- 3PO's arm red? It was never revealed in previous ads or even the movie poster.
Mysterious as it may seem, the website then added that Entertainment Weekly was able to able to take note of the arm in "two shots" from a behind the scene footage during comic con just last summer. The website then elaborated that he "might" be locating wherever Princess Lia is hiding. It can also be an indication or a marking of "The First Order" which can make him a bad guy though it's still unclear if it was just an aesthetic preference, or he did turn into a bad guy. His red arms used to be grey in the previous films.
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is set to premiere in December 17, 2015.
