Chris Brown threw major digs on TMZ via his Twitter page after the tabloid accused him of being addicted to sizzurp. In a string of Twitter rants, Brown showed that he won't be sealing his lips on the fake report of the tabloid.
TMZ reported on Tuesday that Brown's family and friends are now worried about the singer's addiction to sizzurp. The concoction that the tabloid was referring to is a mixture of prescription cough syrup, soft drinks and hard candy. The website shared a photo of him sitting together with his friends at an L.A. pumpkin patch with cups of the alleged drug mixture.
"I got a great album coming, having a great time being a father, and also staying out the way! Ima grown man and I live my life on my terms," Brown wrote on his Twitter. "Tmz is about to run a bogus story tomorrow becuz they aren't getting any traffic. They called my publicist about some bulls**t ass story. It's just sad. Now I'm letting y'all know it's bulls**t!"
The website claimed that Brown's family and friends are now worried about him because he was taking the drugs while his daughter, Royalty, was around. They also fear that his addiction to it is getting uncontrollable in the recent weeks. The website went on to say that Brown could lose his custody of his daughter if he continues, Daily Mail reports.
TMZ also reported that during Brown's custody battle in court, the test revealed that he was positive with codeine. However, since Brown has a prescription for it, the court allowed him to have his daughter from time to time. The "Loyal" singer got more upset when the tabloid posted a video of him at the birthday celebration of Tyga's son where he is seen drinking from a double cup while biking.
TMZ also said that a friend of the singer was carrying a soda and codeine and it seemed that they were mixing the drug at a children's party.
This is not the first time that Brown attacked TMZ for its report. Previously, he called TMZ CEO Harvey Levin "the devil" on Instagram. Rihanna's ex got mad with the tabloid's report that his mother was worried about his connections with a gang, Page Six reports.
