The famous "Deal or No Deal" host Howie Mandel, has reportedly sold his home in Cape Cod, Malibu, for $7.7 million, according to some news reports. The home was sold after spending two long years on the listing market.
The ocean-view home was first listed in December 2011 with an asking price of $7.25 million. After sitting for a long time with the same price tag, he upped the asking price by $500,000 sometime back in January 2013. Estate agent Michael Gardner wrote in his blog that Howie was confident of the value of the house and would not accept anything that did not justify it.
Howie's patience has paid off as he managed to sell the place for his upped price tag!
Listing records show that Mandel purchased the property for $3 million in 2006. He had the place renovated in 2008. The home was designed by famous architect Douglas Burdge and emits a sophisticated glow. The home offers soothing views of the Santa Monica bay.
According to the Zillow Blog, the property is situated in the sophisticated area of Point Dume covering more than an acre's expanse. The main unit sprawls across 5865 square feet consisting of 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms sitting on a 1.04 acre lot. The place also has a gym, a theater, a separate office and library along with a den.
The spacious living room comprises of a formal eating area lined with French doors and open into a large kitchen. The kitchen has a breakfast bar and is stocked with modern appliances. The home also boasts of fine landscaped lawns and an infinity pool. The place has a detached guest house too.

Howie currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and three daughters.
Howie judged the fifth season of "America's got Talent" and will be back on the show's ninth season. It was recently announced that Mandel will accompany Heidi Klum, Howard Stern and Mel B on the Judge's panel, while Nick Cannon plays host.
