"Blood and Wine" is the second paid expansion of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" and has got a new launch window. It is awaited to release in the first quarter of 2016, probably between January to March, and the DLC is now set for January-June next year. The minor change was briefly explained in the "Hearts of Stone" press release, the RPG's first update, which debuted in Oct. 13.
"The Witcher" developer, CD Projekt Red's own GOG.com, says "The Blood and Wine" page still presents the Q1 2016 release dates. A CD Projekt Red officer also said during an interview with Gamespot that they are speaking more on the specific launch date of "Blood and Wine" at a later time. He encouraged the fans to stay tuned.
"Blood and Wine" is the more important of the two paid expansions of "The Witcher 3," and is said to provide around 10 hours for "Hearts of Stone," including 20 hours of gameplay. The update happens in the new Toussaint region and will get to the Geralt, a land undamaged by war, where the environment is masked with knightly ritual, bloody, ancient secrets, and carefree lenience. Other than this, there are no other details about "Blood and Wine" that has been released.
As reported above, "The Witcher 3 Hearts of Stone" has been launched in all formats and in all regions, like new milestones and new content. Among the new milestones, one is not correctly functioning, the Wild Rose Dethroned, because it fails to unlock even if the task is completed.
Gamers can now play "The WItcher 3" on their PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. "The Hearts of Stone" update could also be purchased on three formats and in all regions. "The Witcher 3" now has over 6 million copies sold.
