"The Walking Dead" Season 6 is about to start and fans are excited to know what had happened to Glenn Rhee, if he had survived the zombie attack during episode three. But one character will be stepping up this coming season and it is Carol Peltier.
Showrunner for "The Walking Dead" Scott M. Gimple, said through TVLine that, "It's going to be hard for Carol. She likes being invisible. What she had to do at the end of the episode, it weighed on her... It's kind of like the thing she didn't want to hear, the thing that she was ignoring all of this time [amid] all the killing. And then hearing it and feeling it, it's weighing on her. And seeing all of these people potentially being grateful towards her is going to be difficult."
"The Walking Dead" character Carol (Melissa McBride) has been staying low since they arrived in Alexandria. She prefers to keep things quiet, not needing to attract additional attention, until the Wolves' arrival during Episode 2 "JSS" of the current season. Carol has no choice but to fight it off with the Wolves.
People will see a different person in Carol, as she will become a person to look up to. She has proven that she is more than a baker and can take up a fight, any time, any day. So Carol needs to be harder and stronger this time to defend Alexandria, Christianity Daily reported.
"The Walking Dead" showrunner also gave spoilers for the next few episodes of the highly successful horror-drama television series. According to him, the show might turn out differently from the way it started. Things will be getting more interesting as well as intense, and hopefully will not be heartbreaking for the fans.
"There will be different types of episodes coming up. The story is going to take some turns that [will] give us different flavours of stories," Gimple explained.
"The Walking Dead" Season 6 episodes are on AMC every Sunday night.
