After Naz (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) was held because of terrorism suspicions, Brian (Jake McDorman) and Rebecca (Jennifer Carpenter) will be working together to help free her in the new episode of CBS' "Limitless."
According to Christian Post, now that Naz is detained, Rebecca and Brian will conduct their own investigation to clear her name. It was revealed in the previous episode that Naz was suspected of funding some terrorist. In the last episode, Brian was also seen faking being sick as he was taken by mercenaries who were looking for suspected terrorists in the state. It was revealed that Brian was abducted because the CIA wanted to utilize his abilities for a certain black ops mission.
In the official synopsis posted by the Hollywood Hills, it was revealed that as Brian and Rebecca investigate more about Naz, they will meet her daughter Ava (Michelle Veintimilla). Ava will be revealing a huge family secret which Naz has been keeping from the FBI.
In other news, it was reported that the show has been garnering top ratings along with the other new shows that were released this year. The executive producer of the show, Craig Sweeny, revealed in an interview that he was heavily influenced by the movie in the making of the show.
Earlier in the series, the original Brian of the movie, Bradley Cooper, made an appearance as the character Sen. Ed Morra. After Cooper's appearance, fans are wondering if the actor will be appearing in the show again.
Sweeny revealed in an interview that he would be very surprised if Eddie Morra won't be coming back to the show. In episode 6 of the show, Morra gave Brian a shot which makes him immune to the side effects of the drug. This could mean that Brian would be needing the help of the senator again.
"Limitless" Season 1 airs every Tuesday on CBS.
