Amid preparing for the Sochi Olympics and anticipating December's Dew Tour Event in Colorado, ace skateboarder Shaun White swooped up a nice piece of real estate in Malibu for $8.9 million, according to some reports.
The Real Estalker reports that White picked up the posh 2625 square feet, single family residence located at Point Dume, in a private deal. Apparently, Mike Fleiss, a distant cousin of Heidi Fleiss, the "Hollywood Madame" is the seller of the home.
Since the deal was an off-market transaction, not much is known about the house. However, The Real Estalker has some intel on the features. The home reportedly comprises of two bedrooms and two full and one half bathroom. Some pictures show ample beach frontage and a pool in the home.

White is not only a talented skateboard wielder but also handles the guitar pretty well. According to USA Today, the national snowboarder needed a challenge after dominating the sport for so long and hence took to music. He formed a band, "Bad Things", landed a contract with Warner Brothers and also started a tour in July.
Talking about his musical career with the Rolling Stones, White said:
"Playing guitar was the first time I realized I wasn't going to be the best at something. I remember the day: I was watching the Zeppelin video The Song Remains the Same and I'm like, 'Oh my God. I'm not gonna be better than this guy."
Meanwhile, on the real estate front, looks like Malibu's market is red hot now - be it renting or buying. Several celebrity homes in the area have hit the rental market of late. Check out some recent celebrity activity in the area, here.
