Aside from that, Optimus Prime will be joined by other robots like Override, Red Alert, Scourge, Cyclonus and Blitzwing.
It was earlier reported that the movie will be introducing a new villain named Unicron who is described as "chaos bringer" in the Transformers world. In addition, it was revealed that Unicorn is the master of the Decepticons and he gained his power and knowledge by absorbing planets in the solar system. It seems like his next target is Earth.

According to the reports, the first plot will be focusing on Mark Wahlberg's character Cade Yeager, and he will be working with the Autobots and Dinobots to fight the new big bad. The second plot was reported to be about Optimus Prime as he goes on to look for their originators or what they call Quintessons.
It was also confirmed that Michael Bay will be returning for the movie and Movie News Guide reports that the writers are now working on the sequels of the movie for the next 10 years. Paramount Pictures earlier revealed that they have created a group of writers who were tasked to create new stories for the "Transformers" franchise. It was speculated that the company is using this strategy to be able to develop a base of dedicated fans, and new audience can be added for each movie continuously.
