There are rumors suggesting that From Software, the company responsible for "Bloodborne", is developing a Japanese Role-Playing Game that is exclusive for PlayStation 4 and that this JRPG is mostly likely "Bloodborne 2"
According to Design and Trend, a certain leaker going by the name "Verendus" has taken to the NeoGAF forums to spill something about what the developers at From Software could be working on. Take note that this user now appears to have been banned from the forum. Nevertheless, part of what he has spilled says, "Next FS exclusive for PS4 currently in development is a Sony published first party title, like Bloodborne, and is a JRPG. There is another project in development in a similar context which is also a JRPG, and is going to be a Sony published title aka first party."
This should be taken with a grain of salt as it contradicts a statement made by Sony Worldwide's Shuhei Yoshida which clearly states that such title is not happening in the future. Via a Twitter post, Yoshida directly replies "Non" to the inquiry of @Dante11769, "#AskShuhei Can we expect a sony made JRPG in the near future?"
On the otherhand, speaking about the other statement from "Verendus" that another project is in development it was not clearly stated if he was referring to From Software or another company. But fans cannot be blamed for thinking he could be referring to the creator of "Bloodborne" and "Dark Souls". This is because it can still be recalled that back in August, From Software President Hidetaka Miyazaki has told GameSpot, ""I do want to work on something new. I'm pleased to hear people are interested in seeing that."
Well, this only proves one thing, when somebody teases about a game expect the members of the gaming community to stop at nothing to find out more about it. But for now it would be safe to stand by for an official update from either Sony or From Software.
