Apart from being a renowned musician (front man of Sex Pistols and Public Image Ltd), Lydon is also known for making controversial comments on the 'Royal Family'. He has always been an outspoken, straightforward person and tends to not mind his tongue much.

More recently, in an Australian talk show called 'The Project' he put on his arrogant best and at one point asked the female anchor to "shut up" when a "man is talking". The sexist rant continued and the interview went "rather rotten!"
