5 Seconds of Summer Starting to Feel the Pressure of Fame? Ashton Irwin Confirms Breakup with Bryana Holly

Is pressure starting to get the most out of 5 Seconds of Summer? The boys have been going on countless tours and promotions ever since they catapulted to fame. In a recent interview, Ashton Irwin revealed that he and girlfriend, Bryana Holly have called it quits while Calum Hood admitted to smoking weed.

5SOS are often tagged as the next One Direction, as the boys continue to produce record-breaking songs and sold out concert tours all over the world. While Calum Hood, Ashton Irwin, Luke Hemmings and Michael Clifford are well aware of the price that comes with fame, it looks like the pressure is starting to get the most out of them in their lives.

In a recent interview with SiriusXM's Howard Stern (via Daily Mail), Ashton Irwin revealed that he and girlfriend, Bryana Holly have split.

"I actually tried to have a relationship and it just didn't work out," he said.

While Irwin refused to name Holly as the girl he was talking about during the interview, the 21-year-old rocker admitted that it was hard to keep the relationship going, with the band going on numerous tours.

"I've been away for six months... and I was kind of seeing someone for about a year but I worked it out and I'd actually been with them for approximately two months out of that year," he added.

While Irwin felt the consequences of being in a boy band (and a famous one on top of that) hit his love life, Calum Hood admitted during the same interview that he smoked weed before, Australia Network News reported.

"I get super paranoid when I do," he said.

Hood, however, revealed that he has not taken any illegal drug ever since and Hemmings further noted that life is all about keeping the "balance between the fun and not going insane." The "She's Kinda Hot" singer also admitted (via Sugarscape) that he would like to get plenty of rest once he becomes a millionaire.

"I'd like to get somewhere, unpack my suitcase and put my sh*t down," Hemmings said.
