Lenovo Yoga 700 Series Update: Laptop, Tablet, Tent, Stand in One; Comes in 11-Inch, 14-Inch Variants; Core i7 Skylake Processor, Intel HD Graphics 520 Great for $649-$799

Lenovo YOGA 700, a convertible and affordable laptop, was revealed by the company.

Lenovo YOGA 700 consumers will also have an option to choose from two variants, an 11-inch and a 14-inch. As with all other YOGA laptops, there are four modes of operation: laptop, tablet, tent and stand, Coolest Gadgets reported.

With Lenovo consumers who travel a lot, the company has created the 11.6-inch YOGA 700 that is thin, as it measures 15.8mm and is lightweight at 1.1 kg. Lenovo YOGA 700 price starts at $649 and is powered by an Intel Core M3 processor. It also comes with an Intel HD Graphics 515, 4GB worth of RAM and 128GB SSD hard drive.

The Lenovo YOGA 700 has an 11.6-inch battery that provides a maximum of seven hours of continuous use rated at 40Wh. It also comes with a micro HDMI port and the latest USB 3.0 port.

Lenovo YOGA 700 14-inch, the big brother, on the other hand, is more powerful and can perform more efficiently. The 14-inch variant is powered by the latest Intel Core i7 Skylake processor that comes with an Intel HD Graphics 520. One can also have the option to load it with a 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 940M. An 8GB DDR3L memory is loaded and comes with a 128GB of SSD storage. A 256GB SSD is also available if one needs a bigger storage.

The Lenovo YOGA 700 14-inch battery is rated at 45Wh, 4-cell Li-Polymer. Weighing 1.6 kg, it comes with two USB 3.0 and a single USB 2.0 port. A card reader and an HDMI port are also included.

Lenovo YOGA 700 14-inch price starts at $799 and is powerful enough to be used to edit photos in Photoshop.

YOGA 700 series provides a full HD IPS display with a 1920x1080 screen resolution, and also includes a Dolby DS1.0. It also has the latest Windows 10 OS (operating system) plus an AccuType backlit keyboard designed for easier typing, even in low light environments.

Lenovo YOGA 700 will be available in December, Lenovo announced.
