Tim Lincecum, the Starting Pitcher for MLB team San Francisco Giants has reportedly put his condo in the building that was home to the fictional Christian Grey's penthouse - The Escala Building - for $2.49 million, according to various news reports.
The Escala Building in Seattle, Washington, was chosen as the residence of the troubled billionaire, Christian Grey from E.L. James' bestselling erotic novel 'Fifty Shades of Grey'.
However, Tim resided in the building even before Christian came into the picture. According to the Zillow Blog, Tim purchased the condo in 2010 (while 'Fifty Shades' was published in 2011) for $1.5 million.
According to the listing records, Tim's condo is a 2442 square feet residence, sitting on the 28th floor of the 31-story building. Comprising of three bedrooms and three bathrooms, interiors of the condo feature mixed flooring and large, floor-to-ceiling windows that provide panoramic views of the city's skyline.
Building amenities include a spa, a yoga studio, a gym, a pool, a theatre, a dog-run and a wine storage. The building also offers 24/7 concierge service and separate parking space.
The listing at Redfin describes the home as:

While Tim's home is up for sale, Christian's penthouse sold in 2012 for $6 million, for real. The penthouse atop the Escala Building looks just like how it was described in the book. The residence with floor-to-ceiling glass windows was marketed with the piano, in front of which he confessed to Anastasia that he loved her.
While the home has already sold, perhaps the upcoming movie adaptation of the novel could use the penthouse to shoot scenes. The movie is slated to hit theatres in February 2015. The release data was pushed back from August 2014 due to feasibility problems, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
