Daniel Radcliffe Says Goodbye to Harry Potter and Prep for A Big Man’s Role: An FBI Investigator

Daniel Radcliffe, the "Boy Who Lived," is a wizard no more. The actor who played Harry Potter in J.K. Rowling's popular fantasy book series, which will be watched and read by generations to come, is preparing for a tough man's role in a thriller movie.

In a Mirror report published Nov. 4, the entertainment portal mentioned that the role involves being a neo-Nazi FBI undercover investigator in a movie titled "Emporium." The actor was seen sporting a shaved head way back in September.

In the film, the report added, his character will penetrate a white supremacist group uncover a terrorist plot. Joining Radcliffe in the movie, which was shot in Virginia, USA, are Toni Collette and Sam Trammell. Director Daniel Ragussis co-wrote with with former FBI operative Michael German.

No release date has been provided as yet.

In related news, Danielle Radcliffe would star in another movie in the making, with Anne Hathaway, Keanu Reeves and Chloe Grace Moretz joining him in the stellar cast of an indie adventure-drama titled, "The Modern Ocean," to be produced by Shane Carruth.

According to Hollywood Reporter, the storyline would involve vengeance and ferocious rivalry for shipping routes and priceless cargoes that would lead to a battle between colossal cargo ships.

Although the roles are yet to be revealed, the producers commit to give the viewers "enormously inventive, but grounded in arcane reality" and "will draw audiences into a secretive world filled with mysterious technologies and bitter rivalries," the same report mentioned.

Referring to the project, which will be presented to foreign buyers in a meeting happening in Santa Monica for the American Film Market this week, FilmNation said, "This epic tale, fraught with danger and intrigue, takes us from the ancient trading houses of Algeria to the darkest depths of the ocean floor."

Looking at the film's cast alone, fans will definitely anticipate its release.
