'The Vampire Diaries' News, Rumors: Nina Dobrev Returning? Ian Somerhalder And Nikki Reed Fighting Over Elena's Comeback

Looks like Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed's relationship is currently on the rocks as news break out that Somerhalder's ex-girlfriend Nina Dobrev is making a comeback on "The Vampire Diaries" as reported on the Inquisitr website.

Youth Health Magazine then stated that both Somerhalder and Reed have been arguing over various issues which includes Somerhadler's desire to have kids and Nina Dobrev's return to "The Vampire Diaries" season 7.

During an interview with TV Insider, Stefan Salvatore [who is portrayed Paul Wesley] dished out major details in regards to Nina Dobrev's character.

"Elena's still a very big part of the story, her body is in danger in the first few episodes, and Damon is doing everything he can to make sure it stays safe if and when she wakes up. We all had imagined this complete reboot where Elena was gone, but she's talked about so much!"

He was also asked if there were other TVD characters that would be important to Stefan in which he answered:

A vampire named Julian [Todd Lasance], who's the guy Lily fell for after she became a vampire. We'll discover that he altered the direction of Stefan's life significantly. We'll also learn about the girl with whom Stefan had his first big romantic experience before Katherine also [played by Dobrev].

Just a few months ago, news broke out that Nina Dobrev will be leaving "The Vampire Diaries." As per Realty Today, she posted a lengthy Instagram message in regards to her exit which stated:

"I always knew I wanted Elena's story to be a six season adventure, and within those six years I got the journey of a lifetime. I was a human, a vampire, a doppelganger, a crazy immortal, a doppelganger pretending to be human, a human pretending to be a doppelganger. I got kidnapped, killed, resurrected, tortured, cursed, body-snatched, was dead and undead, and there's still so much more to come before the season finale in May."
