Gerard Way, the frontman of rock band 'My Chemical Romance' has reportedly bid 'adios' to his home in Tarzana, Los Angeles, for $1.7 million just after a month from listing it, according to some news reports.
Gerard purchased the place with his wife Lyn-Z, bass player for punk-rock band Mindless Self Indulgence, in 2012 for $1.35. However, looks like they didn't really like the Tudor-style home much and listed it for $1.8 million in October 2013, reports Realtor.com.
Considering the sale price, Gerard has taken a drop on his asking price but has definitely made a little profit from the deal.
Listing records of the residence state that the single family home covered a 4803 square feet area and comprised of five bedrooms and six bedrooms. Interiors feature high wood-beamed ceilings, French doors and windows and light hardwood flooring.
Living spaces include a formal living area, a chef's kitchen and a separate maid's quarters in the house.
Outside, the home has a large swimming pool, an exterior fireplace and eating area and ample recreation space around.

Gerard's parting with the house comes about eight months after their band 'My Chemical Romance' broke up.
The band went on to belt out some great smash hits like the 2006 'Black Parade' and 'Three Cheers for Revenge' which went Platinum in a year's time. However, all the 'joy' was gone for Gerard right after 'Black Parade' released. In a recent interview at Sydney's Graphic Festival, he revealed:
"Paralysis comes from not being in line for what's true for you and by the end of Black Parade I had in fact said everything I wanted to say."
However, the band has had some good memories. They wrote on their official website:
Being in this band for the past 12 years has been a true blessing. We've gotten to go places we never knew we would. We've been able to see and experience things we never imagined possible. We've shared the stage with people we admire, people we look up to, and best of all, our friends. And now, like all great things, it has come time for it to end. Thanks for all of your support, and for being part of the adventure.
Apparently, a collection of greatest hits from the band will be released this New Year.
