After playing a couple of seasons for the LA Lakers, Jeremy Lin was then transferred to Hornets' nest. However, it seems like Lin's stay in the Charlotte Hornets would not be that long, for reports about his rumored transfer are once again being revived.
It can be remembered that earlier this year, Lin was rumored to be transferred to Chicago Bulls. According to suntimes, the Bulls are setting their eyes for a back-up point guard, and they find Jeremy Lin fitting for the task. Suntimes reported that "the Bulls set their focus on a backup point guard after re-signing top priorities Jimmy Butler and Mike Dunleavy." However, such interest never materialized since the report surfaced last July and Lin was later on acquired by Hornets.
The speculations about the possible transfer of Lin to Chicago Bulls was revived based on the espn's report confirming that the Hornets is now finalizing the deal with their shooting guard, Jeremy Lamb. The relevance of the report made by espn correspondent, Marc Stein, was highlighted by christianpost saying that;
"Lin heading to Bulls is that letting go of the 27-year-old 'Linsanity' figurehead would give the Hornets the chance to acquire Kirk Hinrich, Bull's shooting guard/point guard. Aside from having a veteran on the court, the trade with Lin would also have the Bulls give their own 2016 Draft pick to the Hornets."
The interest of Bulls for a back-up point guard like Lin is indeed well-founded. The former New York Knicks player is once again making a headline due to his late game outburst performances, leading to victory over Hawks, 94-92. Thus Sportige commented on Hornets treatment over Lin like an upgraded bench player. Sportige stated via christianpost that;
"The Hornets overall look better when he plays. The Hornets have problems in creativity and offense in general off the bench, but treating Lin like an upgraded bench player isn't going to help the Hornets pick up the pace."
With the performance of Lin on the court under his current team, there is no wonder why the Bulls would like to acquire his service. If the rumors of Lin transferring to the Bulls are indeed true, then it would be exciting to see Linsanity play along with Bull's star players Derrick Rose and Paul Gasol.
