Liam had an interview with Men's Fitness and he admitted that he still has feelings for his ex fiancée, Miley Cyrus.
Reports surfaced that when Miley read the interview, she texted Liam, too. An insider told Life & Style that the "Hannah Montana" star felt butterflies in her stomach and immediately reached out to him. In the interview, Liam said, about his past relationship with Miley, "I don't think those feelings will ever change. And that's good because that proves to me that it was real. It wasn't just a fling. It really was an important part of my life and always will be."
The same insider added that, "She said she'll always love him too, and that he'll always be the man she imagines spending the rest of her life with. She hoped they'd reunite one day when they were older and more mature. He's the first man she ever loved and he's still the love of her life. Miley always wanted to be Mrs. Hemsworth and that hasn't changed."
Other reports came out that Liam responded to the text and both agreed to get together to catch up when they are both in LA.
Liam's revelation was a surprise because both have been living their own lives now and many speculated that it could pave the way for reconciliation.
Several days after Men's Fitness magazine was released, Miley posted a photo in her Instagram account wearing a Garfield onesie which, according to their fans who are rooting for them to get back together, was similar to what Liam wore when he did the ALS challenge over a year ago, according to Seventeen. However, it may had just been just a Halloween custome.
