Update: Zoe Saldana Sells Los Feliz Home for $1.14 Million

Zoe Saldana, 'the Star Trek' actress has reportedly sold her bachelorette pad in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles for $1.14 million just after listing it in late September, according to some news reports.

This could be counted in one of the fastest sales of celebrity real estate history. As news of Saldana secretly tying the knot with Italian artist, Marco Perego surfaced and broke many hearts, fans had to rush to get a piece of Zoe - which explains its short stay on the market.

Saldana lived in the residence before she got married. After her nuptial in June, selling was the only logical step. Although she listed it for $1.2 million, she took a slight dip on the asking price.

Saldana purchased the home in 2006 for a little over $1 million. The residence is a 2800 square feet home, comprising of four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The place has an open contemporary floor plan. Hardwood floors, large glass windows and mixed ceilings are some of its interior features.

While Saldana has sold her Los Feliz Home, Perego's L.A. home is on the rental market, according to Celebuzz.

Perego's home is a 1300 square feet duplex residence located in one of the most posh neighbourhoods of LA, just minutes away from Sunset Strip. Dark hardwood floors, 20-foot ceilings and massive glass windows make up the interiors of the house.

The couple were recently spotted in Venice, California, grabbing a quick lunch. The duo is so besotted that Perego has got a tattoo of his new bride on his forearm, reports E!Online.

Meanwhile, Saldana is preparing for the release of her upcoming flick 'Out of the Furnace' which is slated for a December 6 release. The new drama thriller movie will see Zoe in a yet another unconventional role where she is playing a school teacher who settles down with an officer when the love of her life, Christian bale is sent to prison.

For Saldana, this is another role that means breaking boundaries and widening horizons.

"Why didn't she visit him in jail? Why doesn't she stand by her man? In order for me to understand, I couldn't villainize her. I had to understand where this vulnerability comes from, this lack of strength-'Why did I have to jump to the next person that was willing to take care of me? Why do I need to be taken care of?' And then all of a sudden you're left with a real human being that you have to play, and you can't judge-you just have to be," Saldana says talking about her character, Lena Taylor, in an interview with Ocean Drive.
