The sudden break up is reportedly due the manic schedules of the two but then OK! Magazine reports that there's a more deeper reason why the 26-year-old Jonas decided to end the five-month romance. The sources said that they were a mixture of commitment conflict and unsupportiveness of her ex-beau over his career.
"Gigi wasn't exactly the supportive girlfriend he expected from her," according to the sources in the article. "Joe was always tweeting up a storm about her projects and fashion shows, but when his single and video came out, she didn't mention a word about it."
And the sources also added that, "He felt like he wasn't wanted around anymore and that he deserves better than being someone's second-to-last choice."
But there was also another juicy reveal from the sources that lead to the breakup and based from the article, it was due to Cody Simpson who was Gigi Hadid's ex boyfriend. The sources said that the 20-year-old supermodel always brings up her ex's family and even spends time with them.
"He felt like she didn't want to get to know his family," according to OK! Magazine. "She would spend her days off with Cody's mother and sister."
Meanwhile Hollywood Life scoops that Simpson is not bothered at all by the breakup and is even "ecstatic" about it.
"One person who is ecstatic about the break up is Cody," the insider of Hollywood Life said. "He was cool publicly about Joe moving in so quickly after he and Gigi split, but behind the scenes he was livid. He is not a fan of Joe at all, and still sees himself getting back with Gigi. He definitely thinks they will reunite now that Joe is out of the picture."
