Kendall Jenner may have a new rumored romance with the NBA star D'Angelo Russell as she was spotted enjoying the NBA's rookie game last Nov. 1. Although this may be a good sign for the just turned 20-year-old Jenner, Radar Online digs deeper on the NBA star's family and it seemed that Russell's father has been involved with drugs.
According to the article based from WHAS11, the father of the Lakers player, Antonio Russell, has been involved in different drug cases and just this August, Russell was caught carrying in his vehicle a bottle of suspected codeine liquid and marijuana.
Apart from this, Russell also is currently reported to be "on probation" until 2016 for other charges.
"He was charged and sentenced for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, drug trafficking and fleeing/evading police (1st degree motor vehicle)," according to WHAS11.
Although the father of the NBA star may be in a bad mess, the NBA star is propelling on his career. TMZ scoops that the 20-year-old Jenner and the 19-year-old NBA rookie are "not dating" and claims that they are "just friends."
"They're not dating," according to the sources of TMZ. "They're friends, but that's about it."
And even if the two made it clear that they are friends. Hollywood Life says that they do "hung out along with their friends."
"Kendall and D'Angelo have hung out with friends, and there definitely seems to be a serious flirtation there. Sparks fly whenever they are in the same room."
Maybe there will be a possibility in the future that these two might become a couple. Who's to blame if attraction caught up with these two, they are both gorgeous people and are single.
