Iceman just froze himself some real estate!
Shawn Ashmore, who plays Bobby Drake/ Iceman (the Midas of everything 'cold') in the X-Men series, has reportedly purchased a residence in Studio City for $995,000 after selling his long-time bachelor pad in the nearby area for $653,500 in August, according to some media reports.
Ashmore's brand new Studio City digs is a 1681 square feet, three bed- two full and one half bath single family residence, which has some exclusive features like a salt-water pool and a spa. Interiors of his new home show mixed flooring, high ceilings and French doors and windows, according to the Trulia Blog.

Ashmore sold his previous home in the nearby area sometime in August. He had purchased the place in 2009 for $593,000 and sold it for a $60,500 profit. However, he has put the profit to good use, which fetched him a much bigger, better place, reports Celebuzz.com.

Ashmore is a pretty busy man. When not taking care of his real estate issues, the 'Animorphs' actor is shooting for the upcoming X-men movie, 'X-men: Days of the Future Past'. The movie is slated for a May 2014 release.
As the title of the movie suggests, the upcoming installment of the mutant film will see two eras combining, where professor X sends Wolverine back in time to convince and pacify a younger Xavier to believe in a better future. They need to change their past to save their future.

While the movie is still wrapping up, director Bryan Singer has already teased a sequel to 'X-Men: Days of the Future Past' and soon after, an official word on the next installment came out. 'X-Men: Apocalypse' will reportedly come out in 2016. Though there is no intel on if the original characters will reprise their roles, Ashmore is definitely excited. He tweeted:
