Emilia Clarke, the star of HBO's cult series "Game of Thrones," is now the new face of the French fashion label Dior.
According to WWD, the 29-year-old actress is set for her first ever luxury brand campaign for Rose des Vents, Dior's fine jewelry collection. Renowned photographer Patrick Demarchelier has already shot the campaign with the GoT star. The brand will be debuting the new ad on Nov. 7 in France's Madame Figaro magazine.
According to People Style Watch, the "Terminator" actress could be seen sporting a bright red lipstick over an almost no make-up face, wearing black turtleneck as a backdrop to a Dior necklace with green and blue jewels.
A second photographer has Clarke wearing white, buttoned-down polo with a necklace similar to the other Dior jewelry she is seen wearing in the other picture.
Clarke joins in the ranks of other actresses and celebrities who have become the faces of the high-fashion brand. The list includes Jennifer Lawrence, Rihanna, Natalie Portman and Marion Cotillard.
Meanwhile, the Emmy-nominated actress continues to work on the production of the 6th season of "Game of Thrones." The star, who dishes production secrets, divulged in an interview that the series might be going for an extended twist, ET reports.
When asked how she wanted her character to end up, the GoT actress said she would like Khaleesi to triumph in the end, to get the Iron Throne back and win everything.
HBO is planning to end the series after season 8 and Clarke couldn't agree more. The actress said, "I'm all about leaving the party when it's still kicking." She believed that season 7 will be divided into two parts, or that the production will probably go straight to season 8.
Besides working on her new campaign ad and the much-awaited "Game of Thrones" Season 6, Emilia Clarke will also be seen on the big screen in March 2016 for the film "Me Before You." She will star along with "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" actor Sam Claflin.
