Toronto Blue Jays’ Jose Reyes Almost Sells Manhasset Mansion

Jose Reyes, the MLB team, Toronto Blue Jays' shortstopper is reportedly under contract to sell his mansion in Manhasset, New York, according to some news reports.

The Realtor blog is reporting that the residence has gone under contract of sale; however, the amount shall remain a mystery until the sale is through.

Looks like, Reyes has some serious talent in the real estate field too. According to News Day, Reyes had listed the home sometime in late October 2013 for about $4.45 million after buying a $4.2 million colonial style home in Old Brookville the same month. Now the house has sold just within two months of listing.

According to the listing records, Reyes purchased the home in 2007 for $3.25 million. The home was built in 1998 and comprises of five bedrooms, five full and one half bathroom. The double story home features French doors and windows with hardwood flooring. A game room, a separate wine room and a state of the art gym are some of its exclusive features.

Outside, there is a vast stretch of green lined with flowerbeds, and ample recreation space as well.

The Old Brookville home has six bedrooms and six full and two half bathrooms. The home features hardwood flooring, French doors and windows and tray ceilings. Living spaces include large living and formal dining rooms. The place also has a private sitting room, a paneled library and a modern kitchen with an adjoining breakfast room. A game room, a wine cellar, a bar, a small fitness room and a basement are some of its other features.

Outside, the residence has a large 'football-field' sized backyard and sufficient parking space.
