A new download is now available for "NBA 2K16," Design & Trend reports. The new patch, launched a week after the NBA 2015-2016 season opener, includes updated team colors, lineups as well as slight changes in the players ratings.
The most notable modification to the overall player ratings is Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers, who suffered a two-point drop, which reflected his poor performances in recent games. Players who also saw their ratings plummet in "NBA 2K16" are Derrick Rose of Chicago Bulls (-1), Miami Heat's Goran Dragic (-1) and Bryant's teammate, rookie point guard D'Angelo Russell (-2).
Julius Randle of the Lakers, on the other hand, received a 1-point increase in overall ratings. Other ballers whose ratings soared in the game are Nikola Mirotic of the Bulls (+1), Maurice Williams of the Cleveland Cavaliers (+1), and Utah Jazz' Rodney Hood (+2), to name a few. The only player whose overall rating remains unchanged is Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors.
Another interesting "NBA 2K16" development is the unveiling of locker code bonuses and cheats. Venture Capital Post stated in its article that developers of the game has recently released a number of cheats to help players progress in the game. These cheats and bonuses allow players to gain access to free virtual cash (VC), level ups, as well as acquire NBA legends including Michael Jordan, Shaquille O'Neal, Larry Bird, and Karl Malone. Codes for active players Curry and LeBron James of the Cavaliers are also included in the update.
Ecumenical News also reported that a new form of cheat called PlayVision has recently surfaced and can be a useful instrument in setting up the offense.
"With PlayVision, gamers can watch how an offensive play can be set-up and how it would turn out," the post shared.
The same post also said that some of the cheats released recently are only available for a short period of time.
