NaVorro Bowman Purchases Property Worth $3.1 million In San Jose

NaVorro Bowman, linebacker for the San Francisco 49ers, has recently purchased a palatial home for $3.1 million in the suburbs of Santa Clara County.

Bowman's new property is located approximately 15 minutes south of Levi's Stadium. The 49ers' soon-to-be new home is spread on a half-acre lot and comprises of five bedrooms, four bathrooms and three fireplaces.

The property, which was built in 1951, offers nearly 6,000 square feet of living space after being redesigned and remodelled by De Mattei.

The ground floor of the beige-colored two storied house features a lobby, a wrought-iron staircase leading up to the first floor, sitting room with vaulted ceilings, family room with custom finishes, and a kitchen with stainless steel appliances, Realtor reports.

The top floor includes a recreation room with a wet bar and a wooden-panelled office in an isolated corner. The master suite includes a private sitting room, fireplace and spa-like bath.

The property also caters to the interests of the athlete. It offers a gated pool, sports court and a covered corridor with an outdoor kitchen and fireplace.

Last month the Suitland High School retired Bowman's No. 2 jersey at halftime of the team's game against Duval. As a junior, the Maryland native was the state's Defensive Player of the Year with 165 tackles and nine sacks. However, he was left out of most of the matches during his senior season due to injury, Maxpreps reports.

Addressing the crowd, Bowman became emotional while speaking about his high school coach, Nick Lynch.

Bowman, who played college football for Penn State, was selected in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the 49ers.
