Everything might be doing well for Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) for now, but Eli (Alan Cumming) is planning something big to ruin her and her family.
In the previous episode of "The Good Wife" Season 7, Alicia has been doing well in her work as she, Jason Crouse (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo) have been achieving greater things for their law firm. In episode 5, the team worked on the student loan debt, and the case showed the trio's excellent relationship. Although it was reported that the relationship among the three will continue to flourish in episode 6, it was said that Alicia might have other things on her plate.
According to International Business Times, Alicia and Lucca will be handling a client who used to be a lawyer for a tech company and was fired for failing a polygraph test. While dealing with this client, Alicia will also face some serious problems with Eli as he plans to give out important information which could ruin Peter's (Chris Noth) presidential campaign and at the same time ruin Alicia's reputation.
However, Alicia does not back down as she reveals to Eli that she has a number of schemes herself to counter his attacks in ruining Peter's campaign.
Meanwhile, according to Christian Today, E! News revealed that the show should end after its current season. According to the site, E! News believes that Alicia has already evolved from being a supportive housewife to a junior litigator. The site revealed that Alicia has already undergone a lot of things and the viewers might get tired of the show soon. However, CBS did not reveal yet if it the show is going to be renewed or cancelled after Season 7.
