Fans of "Vampire Diaries" will be delighted to know that Enzo's character, played by Michael Malarkey will finally have a love interest to be revealed in the coming episodes.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly when Malarkey was visited on set recently, he said that there would be flash forwards and his love interest be shown which is exciting because it is going to be a little bit of a shocker. He added that in the present day, it would be shown how it came about.
In related news, another "Vampire Diaries" cast, main characters Damon Salvatore, played by Ian Somerhalder, and his brother Paul Wesley's Stefan would have more women dramas. There is the Caroline and Stefan split and the possible reason why the former will never want to speak or see the latter again, which may have something to do Valerie (Elizabeth Blackmore), who was pregnant with Stefan's child and was turned into a vampire by Lily's blood. The executive producer of the show, Caroline Dries, there is much more to the story and fans expecting more heated drama among the three.
In interview with TV Line, she said, "Valerie is part of the reason, but it's a much bigger, more emotional, legit reason," Dries tells TVLine. "It's beyond petty jealousy or Stefan cheating on Caroline or anything like that." She added that, "This season is about [our characters] growing up and becoming adults," Dries explains, adding that Stefan's almost-baby is "something he will be really be thinking about as we move forward in the season. He'll keep thinking, 'I could have been a dad.' We had many ideas [for their backstory], but we felt this was the most symbolic and thematic."
As to Damon, there will be a new vampire hunter to be introduced in the coming episodes, reported by TV Line. She looks exactly like Elena Gilbert, (Nina Dobrev) and deemed as Season 7's deadly vampire hunter. Her name is Rayna, played by Leslie Anne-Huff and her appearance could spell more trouble for Damon and the rest of the night creatures in Mystic Falls.
Vampire Diaries season 7 airs every Thursday at 8 p.m. E.T. on The CW.
