Willard Scott, who is perhaps best known for predicting weather on NBC's Today Show and also playing the first ever 'Ronald McDonald', has reportedly listed his home in Connecticut for $975,000, according to some news reports.
The Wall Street Journal broke the news of the home hitting the market. Apparently, Scott purchased the residence for $1.2 million, about 10 years ago. It was an impulsive purchase, a love-at-first-sight for Scott back then.
"I saw this place, and I said 'that's the house I've been looking for all my life!' I didn't care what it was gonna cost-I had to have that house," Scott said to the Journal.
The home was originally used as an office for a fish oil company and realtors agree that $1.2 million was too much to pay for the home.
But as they say, Love is blind!
Over the years, the home has been expanded to a little over 1000 square feet. Interiors show dark hardwood floors and wood-framed glass windows and doors. The home also has a one-bed, one bath guest house.

Before Scott went on to become the weatherman at Today, he played the dancing clown, Bozo. Soon after the McDonald's franchise started operating, they roped Scott in to play their signature mascot 'Ronald McDonald'.
However, if you saw the initial version of the friendly clown, you would probably freak out because, Ronald looked nothing less than a child-kidnapping creep then. He had a plastic cup for a nose and a tray of food for a hat! The commercials would also make children run and hide!
