"The Walking Dead" is still set to excite many fans coming back on its sixth season. But is the casting for the new villain "Negan" final already? Celebrity Dirty Laundry spoils the rumors that another actor joins in the zombie apocalypse series. Is Garrett Dillahunt the next nightmare for Rick Grimes' and his men?
"The Walking Dead" season 6 spoilers indicated that the AMC series was looking for the perfect person to play the role known as "Negan" even last Sept. and the rumors are spreading that the casting for the actor is now over.
As what was reported by Den of Geek!, the speculated rumors that Garrett Dillahunt may portray the said role in #616 started because showrunner Scott Gimple followed the "The Long Home" actor in Twitter.
"The Walking Dead" spoilers also revealed that the 50-year-old actor even posted a seemingly very predictable tweet last Nov 3 of a comic book of the series that captions "Reading material for the day: @TheWalkingDead. Just cause."
But up until we hear no final declaration from AMC, Dillahunt's rumors of playing "Negan" is still a speculation.
Let's try to find out if Dillahunt fits in the description for the said role pretty well, as posted before by AMC. "TWD" was looking for a man approximately in his 30s or 40s that exhibits somewhat a "leader" persona, "intelligent" but "dangerous."
The description says "physically imposing, charismatic, brutal, smart, ferocious, frightening, hilarious, inappropriate, oddly friendly, fun loving sociopath that is both a leader of men and a killer of men."
"He has both a practical and emotional intelligence, he's a brilliant strategist, he's pure, dangerous, murderous, often gleeful, that still has both discipline and a code. And he has a temper that can vaporize people. He's truly one of the strongest personalities ever."
Do you think that Dillahunt will play Negan? And what do you think will this new character bring in to Grimes' men?
