TinyCo, in partnership with Marvel Entertainment, has developed a new mobile game and players will see the superheroes in their younger versions in Marvel's Avengers.
Dubbed as Marvel Avengers Academy, the game is sort of a combination of simulation and adventures, according to IGN. The players will have to unlock college-age version of Avengers. After which, they will be guided on their social life such as dating, interaction with others, upgrading and developing superpowers as well as preparing to become a superhero. There will also be campus dramas and rival confrontations.
Variety reported that teenage versions of Captain America, Black Widow, Iron Man and Hawkeye would brave through the trials of superhero school.
Marvel Games creative director Bill Rosemann said "Whether it's visiting Stark Tower or going on a date with Loki, players will soon be debating what's the coolest experience of 'Marvel Avengers Academy,' but for this lifelong fan, it's seeing world-famous superheroes like Captain America, Black Widow and Iron Man reimagined into charmingly fresh but instantly recognizable young-adult forms," Variety notes.
The player can also decide how the school would be set up, depending on what sort of improvement their characters need. They can shape the school based on that need. Each character may also be suited with different outfits that come with unique abilities. Players can also upgrade other areas of the Marvel Academy such as the gym, dorm, labs classrooms and more.
Comic book and animation writer Allen Warner and artist David Nakayama, who produced numerous comic-book covers for Marvel have been enlisted by TinyCo, stated in the same Variety report.
To be released by Disney, fans and players alike can download Marvel Avengers Academy on the first quarter of 2016 both for Apple iOS and Android devices for free with in-app purchases.
