Carphone Warehouse has recently launched a new device in the UK called "Huawei Y3". This is arguably the cheapest smartphone there is in the whole country and you can now get one of these in the abovementioned retailer.
However, the only thing here that is worthy of a headline is the phone's price. "Huawei Y3" just costs £59.99 for one unlocked sim free unit. It is also available for a postpaid plan of £5 per month that comes with 150 minutes, 5000 texts, and 250 MB worth of 3G data. A £44.99 plan is also possible and it would come with unlimited minutes and texts, plus 10 GB data. Other postpaid plans in between these two are also available.
"Huawei Y3" will start delivery Friday, but pre orders can already be made. You can have the phone delivered to you or you can also pick it up at a Carphone Warehouse on the 6th of November.
But what exactly are you getting from this budget friendly phone? If you expect low end specs, then you are very right. "Huawei Y3" comes with basic features, ones that you will find amazing if you are not exactly a smartphone addict. It can call, it can send text, it can capture photos and vids, it can browse the web, and maybe a little light gaming on the sides. If these features are all you need, then the "Huawei Y3" is one smart buy for you.
"Huawei Y3" has a 4 inch screen with a 480 x 800 resolution. The cameras are 5 MP and 2 MP, the chipset is the Spreadtrum 7731 and the CPU is a 1.2 GHz quad core CPU. The RAM is 512 MB and the expandable storage is 4 GB. It runs Android KitKat and it has a 1730 mAh battery. Available colors are black and white.
Sure, this is miles and miles away from your iPhones (even the ones released years ago), but the "Huawei Y3" is really affordable, so there really is no complaining about that. The 512 MB may be too little for many people, but if your phone activities isn't very demanding at all, then this shall be enough.
