Now that speculations are going around the web about the plot of "Wonder Woman," the million dollar question is, who will be the big bad ass villain in the film? Well, no one really knows. However, based on the people at the Superhuman Hollywood, the film's villain will make an effort to lead World War 3, and Wonder Woman will going against him. Yes! It's a HIM.
Heroic Hollywood says Wonder Woman's antagonist will be the God of War, Ares. In the film, Ares has actually robbed a sword that would give him authority to overpower Olympus.
However, sadly for Ares, he needs to collect enough "malevolent psychic energy" to unlock and use the Amazonian sword. Ares gets his powers from that energy, being the God of War, so that he could get enough of it, as he will try to begin the third World War.
Heroic Hollywood added that at the concluding part of "Wonder Woman," Diana will be going to the "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice," as she will be looking for the Amazonian sword because it will disappear in her stand alone film.
Whew! It is quite a heavy plot! Take note fans, "Wonder Woman" is speculated to be set at various points in the timeline. Part of the movie will happen in "the modern day" before the "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice."
At the same time, it is not yet confirmed, "Game of Thrones" and "Lord of the Rings" actor Sean Bean is speculated to play the role of Ares. The "Sin City" and "300: Rise of an Empire" actress, Eva Green, is also rumored to play the sorceress Circe. Other previously released rumors hint that Ares would work in the sidelines, while Circe goes face-to-face and directly fights with Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot).
Patty Jenkins was recruited by Warner Bros to direct the film based on Jason Fuch's screenplay. Gal Gadot will be on the lead role. "Wonder Woman" is set to premiere in cinemas on the 23rd of June 2017.
