Selena Gomez, the 'Come and Get It' hitmaker is reportedly moving into the Calabasas neighborhood of L.A., California, to be neighbors with her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber. The songstress is reportedly close to sealing the deal on a home in the area, according to some news reports.
"Selena is very close to making an offer on a house inside the Calabasas development where Justin lives," an inside source told Life & Style magazine.
"She looked at other neighborhoods, but really fell in love with a home near Justin's," the source added.
Not much intel is available on the details of the house that has won Selena's heart, but the news has definitely sparked a lot of talk in tinseltown. Several sources speculate that Bieber and Selena might get back together. Especially after Bieber admitted that his latest single 'All That Matters' from his upcoming album 'Journals' is about Selena and admitted that he is still in love, this move was bound to raise eyebrows.
But if Selena is going to be neighbors with the 'Baby' singer, she has got to have some sound proof walls and watch while she crosses the street because 'the Biebs' is quite a neighborhood nuisance.
Apparently, his loud parties carry on late until 3 a.m. in the morning. Over the long Memorial Day weekend, neighbors complained of spotting him riding a segway and smoking a joint in front of kids. Bieber also keeps zooming around recklessly in his Ferrari or his motorbike.
Selena's moving into the neighborhood doesn't mean she is reconciling with her ex-beau. However, she is close to his family. She is still in touch with his mother but isn't talking to Bieber now, reports Hollywood Life.
"Selena isn't talking to Justin but she is still in contact with his mom," a source close to Gomez told Hollywood Life.
"Justin's mom loves Selena and really wants her and Justin to get back together because she thinks it would be the best thing for her son," the source added.
In a recent radio show with Power 106, Bieber also said:
"I think we're going to be the greatest of friends. Right now we're taking a little time and not talking."
He also claimed that he was retiring after the release of 'Journals' but later said that he was just kidding.
