Everybody know that at some point, it was bound to happen. Still, it left fans in a state of shock when Mike Ross, played by Patrick J. Adams, was arrested in the summer season finale of "Suits".
So what is next for Mike Ross? Thankfully, it will soon be answered. According to TV Line, season 5B of the hit USA Network series "Suits" is slated to premiere on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016, prime time. Moreover, one of summer's greatest cliffhanger will be addressed. Every "Suits" fans is dying to know who turned Mike in.
In a previous report, there are five possible people who lead to Mike Ross' arrest. The first on the list is Father Sam Walker. After all, he was the person to whom Mike had opened up about his fraud just before he was picked up by the police. The other possible people are Mike's bitter ex-girlfriend Jenny Griffith, the future Father-in-law Robert Zane, Jessica and Harvey's arch nemesis Daniel Hardman and Lola Jensen who faked Mike's Harvard alumni records.
Unfortunately, the mysterious person will not be revealed outright. According to the interview ofThe Hollywood Reporter with show creator Aaron Korsh back in August fans won't find out who turned Mike in at the premiere of season 5B.
In the interview, Korsh said, "I was an anomaly, because it seems like when everybody found out that Mike was going to be discovered - writers, reporters, the editor of the episode - the first question is, "Who did it?" The only person that didn't ask that question first was me. In real life you might never know who did it. The bigger question is: what are we going to do about it? But after being presented that question by a hundred different people it's like, 'OK. I guess we need to explore this thing.' We're not going to find out in [episode] 511, but we will find out down the line.
Indeed, all questions will be answered as "Suits" returns early next year. In the meantime, watch the refresher of Mike's arrest below.
