"Sense8" season 2 will be released on 2016 and spoilers reveal that it will focus on love and loss and that new cast members will possibly join the show
Love and loss will be the plot of the season as the story revolves around Kala (Tina Desai) and Rajan (Purab Kohli). Eventually, Kala will choose Wolfgang (Max Riemelt) over Rajan which will destroy Rajan and turn him into a villain due to his heartbreak. Because of that, Rajan's character will become "sinister" and "smitten" on the upcoming season.
Kohli said that it was great to explore a different side of his character Rajan. He also added that Rajan felt a strong connection towards Kala which will move him to fight for Kala since nothing could make him give up on her. He also joked that "if it was up to him, he would want the second season to focus more on Rajan and Kala," Yibada reported.
Meanwhile, Riley Blue will struggle to fight for her feelings for someone who belongs to their cluster. It would be hard to stop her feelings but she tries to since Ysra told her that having feelings with someone on the same cluster is considered "pathological."
"Sense8" producer J. Michael Straczynski indicated the introduction of more groups for the next season. Since more groups will be seen on the next season, this might mean that new casts are also coming.
"Not all Sense8s will be naturally good people. Some people with that ability might not be the best people. So there's a whole range of them," he said, according to Assignment X.
"Some of them will be more attuned to the commonality of being in a cluster, some will say, 'I'm hiding out, don't reveal me,' the value of not being seen," he added.
"Sense8" will air mid-2016 and is said to follow the schedule of Season 1.
