‘Married at First Sight’ Season 3 Will Be A ‘Different Experience,’ Shares Jamie Otis

"Married at First Sight" Season 3 is still on despite several reports claiming that the show's upcoming season may not make it to the small screens anymore. While the FYI reality series has been plagued with rumors and controversies surrounding the nature of the show and its couples, Jamie Otis recently shared her experience on the show as one of the pairs who stuck with each other even behind-the-scenes.

Months ago, many fans and viewers were no longer expecting to see "Married at First Sight" renewed for another season after its two-season run on FYI. According to Christian Today, the same rumor still stands despite FYI's recent announcement about the show's renewal for season three.

The outlet noted that "Married at First Sight" Season 3 is still rumored to be cancelled, especially after its former couples from previous seasons have been plagued with numerous scandals and controversies. The latest scandal involved Ryan De Nino and Jessica Castro, a couple from Season 2.

Castro reportedly filed for restraining order from her husband, De Nino, who allegedly threatened to kill her and her family after filing for separation papers. Several viewers also started petitioning against the FYI reality show, which features strangers getting married after meeting each other for the first time.

Jamie Otis, a former participant from "Married at First Sight" Season 2, recently shared her experience on the show with OK! Magazine. Otis and Doug Hehner are one of the rare couples on the show who stayed married even after the cameras went off.

Otis admitted that it was hard to keep their marriage going, especially because their relationship almost always seemed to be aired in front of the cameras. Otis also gushed about her husband, whom she described as "patient, loving, understanding and forgiving."

Otis also explained why the other couples from the show didn't make it out in real life.

"We didn't watch any other couple fall in love and I think when you want that, you can tend to want to gravitate towards that and want it for yourself," she said.

Otis also promised upcoming contestants and pairs that the show will offer a "different experience" in Season 3.
