"The Walking Dead" took a step backwards on its last episode focusing on the backstory of Morgan Jones, but for its episode 5 entitled "Now," the cast will be thrown into the current chaos once again.
Fans of the only have one question: What happened to Glenn Rhee? He was last seen falling into a dump of walkers, screaming for his life. Worse, actor Steven Yeun was edited out from the show's credits. Is Glenn dead or alive?
It seems the producers of the show are playing coy with its audience. According to The Spoiling Dead, Glenn will not be appearing on episode 5. But, his story will play a big part in the episode's plot. He will be proclaimed as missing, and the people of Alexandria will begin a manhunt.
Amidst the chaos, Glenn's wife Maggie (Lauren Cohan) will discover that she's pregnant! Unfortunately, this good news will be bittersweet for the mom-to-be, as Glenn is still missing in action.
There is reason to believe that Glenn is in fact alive and unbitten, as Yeun was spotted by The Spoiling Dead on the film set last Oct. 29. The actor was dressed as his character, looking healthy and normal.
However, Glenn fans cannot completely relax because as hardcore fans would know, Glenn will eventually meet his tragic end in the comics. This happens shortly after the villain Negan is introduced.
Although producers of the show have been mum about including Negan in season 6, there are rumors that actor Garret Dillahunt has been cast as the villain. Just recently, Dillahunt tweeted a photo of his new "reading material," which happens to be a "The Walking Dead" comic book.
On Saturday, Nov. 6, Dillahunt continued to tease fans by posting a picture of himself on Instagram, on what appears to be a film set. "Bloody crew cut in the woods," he wrote in the caption. "Who do I look like? Fans were quick to respond that he did resemble Negan.
The waiting game is on. Catch "The Walking Dead" season 6 episode 5 on Sunday, Nov. 8, 9 p.m. on AMC. Meanwhile, here is the official episode trailer from AMC:
