Keira Knightly Buys $6.4 Million Home in Central London

Keira Knightly of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" fame has reportedly purchased a home with her new husband musician James Righton in Central London, according to various news sources.

The Real Estalker is reporting that although the purchase price has not been revealed, the list price of the home was somewhere around $6.4 million (£3.9 million). According to the floor plan and details provided by the publication, the residence is a 2775 square feet, five bed, five bath single family home , spread on three floors.

The home has a lower ground floor that has a reception, one bedroom, a store room and a garage. The ground floor comprises of a breakfast room or kitchen, a dining room and another reception area. The first and second floors have two bedrooms and two attached bathrooms, respectively.

A large garden area and a front courtyard complete the exteriors.

More recently, Keira Knightly listed her townhouse in East London for $4.7 million. That home might have been delisted or sold as its official listing states. However, no official word on the residence's deal is out yet. That home is a 3,223 square feet complex comprising of four bedrooms and three full and one half bathrooms, all spread across three stories.

Knightly has always been known as the "quintessential English rose". She has appeared in classic novel adaptations like "Pride and Prejudice" (based on Jane Austen's novel) and "Anna Karenina" (Leo Tolstoy's classic).

Knightly may have found home in the real universe but definitely finds the 'twitter-verse' "dehumanizing", according to the Jamaica Observer. She joined the social networking site and deactivated her account in just 12 hours. Apparently, she set the account up with a fake name and id but couldn't stand the place one bit.

"It made me feel a little bit like being in a school playground and not being popular and standing on the sidelines kind of going, 'Argh'," Knightly said in an interview with Harper's Bazaar.
