"Fallout 4" is almost out. There are only two more days left before the latest "Fallout" game from Bethesda Game Studios is launched. And for those whose hands are already itching to play this action game there is good news.
According to Polygon, "Fallout 4" can now be pre-loaded on PC. The game is said to require 23.8GB download but on Steam it says it will require 30GB of hard disk space. Regardless, the option to pre-load the game at least two days before launch date is a big deal for those with not so fast internet connection.
Moreover according to Polygon, "The file size of every Bethesda Game Studios release of the last 10 years added together is 'smaller' than Fallout 4's install size, which tells us that we still don't really know anything about how long Fallout 4 is, or how big it is. The only way we're going to find out is once someone who doesn't work for Bethesda plays it."
"Fallout 4" is the sequel to "Fallout 3" that was released in 2008. The latter needed more or less 7GB of hard disk space on PC. With the advanced graphics and lighting engine that brings really superb details, it is no wonder that the upcoming "Fallout" has a massive file size. It will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on Nov. 10.
According to VG 24/7, PS4 and Xbox users can also pre-load the game. But of course, you can only pre-download the game if you have pre-ordered it.
"Fallout 4" requires a PC that runs at least 64-bit Windows 7 and a processor that is at least Intel Core i5-2300 2.8 GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz, 8GB of RAM and NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti 2GB or AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or equivalent graphics card.
