While Square Enix has yet to announce the official release date of the much-awaited RPG "Final Fantasy 15," it wants to know if fans would want to see moogles in the upcoming adventure game.
The developers recently have taken to Twitter to conduct a poll on whether or not the developers should include the cutesy companions. The Twitter poll was headed by the line that reads, "Our Japanese cousins have asked THAT question... kupo... so what do you think? Should moogles be in #FFXV?"
Of the 21,363 votes as of press time, 78 percent agreed that moogles should be in "Final Fantasy XV." According to IGN, the results of the poll does not guarantee that moogles will or will not be added though. It was rather a way for the developers to know how fans feel about the winged companions.
Another Twitter post reads, "We can't guarantee moogles will be in #FFXV but we really want to see how passionate you guys are about them and we'll see what we can do."
According to Eurogamer, these winged bunny-like companions have been featured in several "Final Fantasy" games. Their appearance in "Final Fantasy XV" are least likely to happen based on what Square Enix has said about moogles at Tokyo Games Show in September. Even if Final Fantasy designer Tetsuya Nomura reportedly said that moogles agreed to be included in "FFXV" when it was still being worked on as "Final Fantasy Versus 13" it seems safer now to assume that they might not be present in the latest "Final Fantasy" installment.
According to Eurogamer, "Final Fantasy" has graphics and features that look far too advanced than the previous versions. Therefore, the devs might be doubtful if moofles would fit the new world.
On the other hand, the poll might eventually move Square Enix to add moogles to "Final Fantasy XV."
